  1. Dammit. I meant to listen in the car ride to work today. I got distracted by a show on rising acidity in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Which means I am giant dork, one way or the other.

Conch is a great guy. Hope it went well!

  2. Missed the radio interview. Bill Clinton's current complaint appear to be valid. Headline today: Obama, McCain Slug it Out. Seems like the SPINELESS, LAZY, BUSINESS-AS-USUAL American media has erased Hillary Clinton from the competition. Perhaps a three-way competition is too confusing for today's college-'educated' journalists. I think the Fourth Estate is the Invisible Estate. America, for the most part, appears to be history challenged. No one, absolutely no one, has responded to the REAL EVENT in 1948 when Harry S. Truman, the incombent President, refused to give up despite the country soundly hating him. Or so it seemed. Maybe too many people read the papers, or enough didn't read the papers. The Chicago Tribune headline shouted, "Dewey Defeats Truman." But don't mind me. Don't read history, folks. Surely it's apples and oranges, because Truman was a male, and Hillary Clinton is a female. All the difference in the world, right? Margaret Thatcher is a figment of everyone's imagination, too. To George W. Bush, don't mind my generation's war in Vietnam. In fact, Bush didn't mind my generation's war in Vietnam. Bush managed to avoid it AND ignore it when he Shock and Awed into Iraq. Come on, Americans. All together now. Bend WAY over and kiss our asses goodbye.

  4. WTF?! When I ran out of luck in NY, I just packed up, and went back to cali.

It never occurred to me to really capitalize on all the rich Columbia chicks down the street at Heights.

The biggest problem for poor students in NY is that there is little to no part time employment that pays more than minimum wage. Even my lame-ass job opening the Sheraton gym at 4:30am fired me after 9-11.

I can't wait for the new book!
