Cartoon for June 7

The human rights group Reprieve, reports the UK Guardian newspaper, says the U.S. is using U.S. Navy ships as prison ships for detainees.

  1. Wouldn't that do exactly what the BushAdmin has been trying to avoid - put detainees on U.S. soil? I may be wrong, but I thought US Navy ships were considered U.S. territory by law.

  2. "why does he care?"

ahh, the militant ostrich point of view.

Hey you. bury your head!! Whats the matter with you?! You can't do anything about it anyways.

I swear they're gonna revive the space program just so they can torture prisoners on Mars.

  5. President Bush has said repeatedly that the United States of America does not torture. He's on record saying this.

Keep in mind, a major campaign stump of his in 2000 was that the vast majority of his tax cuts benefited lower income brackets. He has been permitted to make outrageous claims and outright lies his entire career, should we expect any different?

Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. The people who have repeated this line to me the most in my life voted for Bush twice. They were aware of what was going on from the beginning, they are ALL criminals and accomplices in my mind.
